I just wanted to say a truly heartfelt thank you to everyone at PJKing (Hullbridge) who looked after me and obviously my dad who sadly passed away in March 2026. I had a funeral director in mind but I also asked a couple of friends who they had used and they had nothing but praise for both the Burnham-on-Crouch and Hullbridge Offices of PJKing with the way they handled everything for their loved ones. As my dad lived in Hullbridge, I chose his local office. I had never had to arrange or deal with anything like this previously but I had nothing to worry about as the lovely ladies (Debby and Tracey) were such a delight to deal with it made the sad process so much easier to go through. The funeral went exactly as I hoped it would. The Celebrant (Jillian) also provided a professional and friendly service. I would definitely recommend Jillian as the celebrant as well as I was dreading that part of the service, as I wanted it to be right for Dad, but it was again just as I hoped. I cant fault the service and I can understand why the people I asked recommended PJKing. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, very professional, everything was at ease, no rush and they really were there to help.

With the passing of our Mum in September 2025 it felt only right to remember her by giving her a decent send off. Paul J. King (Hullbridge) came recommended, so for us it was a simple decision. It was so lovely, everybody that attended said what a fantastic service it was. We thought it was so lovely that 4 months later when our Dad passed, we decided to have something very similar for Dad. It worked well, everybody that attended said "what a fantastic send off". Our Celebrant was very professional and so understanding and helped us make the right choices for the days concerned. My Dad and I used Paul J King Funeral Directors (SWF) after losing my Mum unexpectedly in December. From the moment we met Lesley, there was no question that we would use another firm. Lesley’s kindness and compassion was outstanding. She guided us through the process and was always at the end of the phone to answer any query or concern we had. She was so respectful in listening to our wishes and wishes of Mum’s family, which ensured that we gave Mum the best send off possible. Lesley truly eased an incredibly difficult time. On the day of the service, Corinne and the rest of her team were brilliant and the service ran so smoothly and was beautiful. We are so content that we used this firm.
