 Blue Boar Hotel, Maldon – A historic 14th-century coaching inn offering versatile function rooms, including the elegant Long Room with a bar and period décor, ideal for larger gatherings, and the cosy Blue Room with a fireplace, perfect for intimate celebrations. |
 Brewhouse & Kitchen, Chelmsford – Situated in the historic Anne Knight Building, this venue offers several adaptable spaces for events. The Mezzanine accommodates up to 135 guests, while the Anne Knight Suite is perfect for gatherings of 40 to 120 attendees. Their in-house catering and selection of craft beers can be tailored to your event's needs. |
 The Chelmsford Club – Established in 1884, this prestigious private members' club offers a variety of elegant spaces suitable for celebration of life events. The Adler Room can accommodate up to 60 guests and features controlled heating, lighting, and audiovisual equipment. For more intimate gatherings, the Dining Room provides a formal setting with a Victorian dining table. The beautifully landscaped garden is also available for outdoor receptions or gatherings. |
 Royal Burnham Yacht Club, Burnham-on-Crouch – Located on the scenic banks of the River Crouch, this historic yacht club offers a range of function rooms with stunning river views. The venue can accommodate up to 100 guests for ceremonies and formal gatherings, with dining facilities and a fully equipped bar. Their purpose-built Old Park Lodge features a stunning wood and glass design with large folding doors that open to picturesque meadow views. The lodge can accommodate up to 200 guests and is fully accessible, providing a serene environment for services, wakes, and memorial gatherings. |
 Le Bouchon, Heybridge – Set in a Grade II listed Georgian building, Le Bouchon offers an elegant and intimate setting for celebration of life events. The venue features several private dining spaces: the Georgian Dining Room seats up to 16 guests, the Orangery accommodates up to 36 guests, and for larger gatherings, exclusive hire of the entire venue can host up to 100 guests.  The Lodge Country Inn, Battlesbridge – Set in the heart of the Essex countryside, The Lodge Country Inn offers a peaceful and picturesque setting for celebration of life events. The venue features a fully equipped marquee that can accommodate up to 200 guests for larger gatherings, with options for formal meals or more casual receptions. For more intimate gatherings, the inn's two restaurants can be combined to seat up to 120 guests. The Lodge also offers eight en-suite guest rooms for those who may require accommodation. |
