Fleet
Our pride and joy is our prestigious Daimler which is one of the finest vehicles of its kind left in the Country. This was the last of ‘the real limousines’ built by Daimler and only built strictly to order. Building only 4141 between 1968 and 1992 they were the popular choice of Heads of State, Ministry of Defence and Government Agencies throughout the entire World. Most were supplied in Masons Black and as such were chosen by the countries finest Funeral Directors and Carriage Masters. The Royal Mews ran 3 of these at any one time and were the Queen Mothers favourite car, so much so, she ordered 5. Despite most of their number being supplied in black, it is now by far the rarest vehicle to find with estimated figures saying only 60 or 70 remain in the Country and more than half of the 4141 are now scrapped it makes this a sought after vehicle by collectors the World over. Powered by a highly refined six cylinder engine with overhead camshafts the engine is at home with low speeds of a State Procession or cruising swiftly, smoothly and quietly along a motorway. Its overall length is 226” and weighs in at a massive 4703 Lbs For comfort and luxury this vehicle is unsurpassed giving the largest compartment for any size wedding dress. The car could be used either as the Bridal car or as transport for up to seven Bridesmaids with the facility of fold down forward facing occasional seats. |

Our pair of newly built modern limousines are based on the Australian 4.0 litre Falcon cars. These were commissioned specifically for us to our exacting specifications by the Countries most respected limousine coachbuilder Coleman Milne in Westhoughton, Lancashire. Offering the largest width of seating of any modern limousine built in the last decade we can assure maximum comfort particularly on distance journeys. The cars are finished in Masons Black to match up with our Daimler and will accommodate up to seven passengers making them the most practical choice of vehicle for Bridesmaid and close family when using the Daimler as the Bridal car. The interior is fully air-conditioned for when the sun shows its face and all the upholstery is in sumptuous black leather. All seating is fixed and all forward facing. The passenger compartments are accessed by the six doors enabling direct access to the seat edge by the elderly or infirm. The overall appearance of the vehicle is that of sheer luxury with its smooth lines and elevated height with the chrome roof rails and higher ground clearance than most modern cars. As these vehicles are a matching pair discount for booking both will be considered. |
Our Eagle Quests although a simple style of modern limousine are based on one of the Countries most popular production cars. These were built by Eagle Specialist Vehicles in Bolton offering spacious passenger compartments. The cars are finished in Masons Black to match up with our Daimler and Fairlane’s and will also accommodate up to seven passengers making them a practical choice of vehicle for Bridesmaid and close family when using the Daimler as the Bridal car. The passenger compartments are accessed by the four doors and give a cavernous interior for the larger wedding dress or by using the fold down forward facing seats can accommodate up to 7 passengers. As these vehicles are a matching pair discount for booking both will be considered. |

Terms and Conditions of Hire
The Tariff
1. Crown Limousines’ Wedding Tariff includes decoration of the limousine with white ribbons or if required, we will be happy to use any suitable ribbon supplied to match the Brides colour theme.
2. Subject to time and geographical constraints, limousine charges quoted below include, if required, up to three trips to convey:
- Bridesmaids and the Bride’s Mother to the place of ceremony;
- Bride and her Father (or other person giving away the Bride) to the place of ceremony;
- Bride and Groom to the Reception.
If required, we can provide transport to the overnight / honeymoon hotel or airport at an additional cost.
3. Hire charges for the limousine(s) will be applied as follows:

VAT is not charged on any of our services.
Bookings and Cancellations
4. “Initial Bookings” will be held for a period of 14 calendar days during which time the non-refundable Booking Fee must be paid. The outstanding balance of the hire charge must be paid at least 21 days prior to the date of the event. If the Booking Fee is not received within 14 calendar days, the booking will be cancelled.
5. We require written notification of cancellation of bookings in all cases. In the event of the cancellation of a confirmed booking, the following charges will apply:

Payments
6. Payment may be made by cash or cheque. Cheques should be made payable to PJ & HJ King.
Hire Period: Alterations to Timings
7. Whilst we will try to accommodate requests to alter arrangements and timings at short notice, other commitments for the limousines and chauffeurs on the same day may prevent this. We therefore reserve the right to leave venues at the contracted times.
Availability and Substitution of Vehicles
8. We will make every effort to provide the vehicles booked. In the event of a mechanical breakdown, accident or other unforeseen event, we reserve the right to substitute a similar, alternative vehicle.
Standard of Vehicles
9. We maintain our vehicles in a pristine condition and all limousines are valeted before and after the hire period at no extra charge. We reserve the right to impose a Special Cleaning charge of £150 where soiling of the vehicle is found to be excessive or, e.g., due to smoking, spillage of food or drink, or to illness.
10. With the exception of fair wear and tear, the Hirer is responsible for meeting in full the cost of any damage to the vehicle, its fitting or accessories, caused by him/her or any member of his/her party.
Behaviour
11. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that all members of his/her party exercise reasonable behaviour when travelling in our limousines. We reserve the right to terminate a hire immediately and without refund where the hirer or a member of his/her party displays abusive or aggressive behaviour, or appears to be unduly under the influence of alcohol or a narcotic substance.
12. Smoking and the use of narcotics are not permitted in our limousines at any time.
Insurance and Seatbelts
13. To meet insurance requirements, the number of passengers travelling in our limousines is restricted to a maximum of seven (7).
14. United Kingdom law governs the use of seatbelts and appropriate child restraints. All adult passengers aged 14 years or over must wear seatbelts where available and are themselves responsible for ensuring that they do so.
15. Children over 1.35 metres (approximately 4’5”) in height or aged 12 or 13 years, must wear seatbelts where these are available.
16. Children aged 3 years and above, until they reach EITHER their 12th birthday or 135cm (approximately 4’5”) in height, must use the correct child restraint. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to provide the correct child restraints for use in our limousines and to ensure that they are correctly fitted.
17. We reserve the right to refuse to allow any child under the age of 14 years to travel in our limousines, or to immediately terminate the hire if either the correct restraints are not used or where we believe any restraint provided by the hirer may not meet legal requirements. No claims will be considered for fines or other losses arising from failure to comply with the law.
Personal Property
18. Our chauffeurs check vehicles immediately after all hires and any personal property found will be returned to the Hirer as soon as possible after the completion of the hire. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property either during or following the completion of the hire period.
